NSW Bike Plan

The NSW BikePlan is a comprehensive plan to transform cycling and to encourage people to ride more often and more safely in NSW.

The plan represents the largest program of bicycle construction projects and encouragement actions ever prepared for NSW. Cycling is an increasingly popular and important mode of travel, with more people in NSW discovering the fun, freedom and flexibility of riding their bike.
The NSW BikePlan is a whole-of-government project overseen by the Premier’s Council for Active Living. The plan describes the actions planned to build on the growing popularity of cycling so that our State becomes one of the world’s great places to ride a bike.

The NSW BikePlan details a 10-year plan for new bicycle infrastructure to be funded through the NSW Government Metropolitan Transport Plan commitment of $158 million to improve cycling networks in NSW. The plan also describes a comprehensive range of social programs and encouragement actions including cycling skills and awareness training, and more access to information for cyclists.

The NSW BikePlan is an integrated plan to transform cycling and to encourage more people to ride more often and more safely in NSW. The NSW BikePlan will help the NSW Government to achieve our State Plan target of increasing the number of bicycle trips made in the Greater Sydney region at a local and district level to 5 per cent by 2016.

More people riding bikes helps combat congestion in our cities and towns, reduces the air pollution and climate change impacts of driving, and makes healthy physical activity part of everyday life. Support for bike-riders is at the heart of the NSW Government’s plans for a healthier, cleaner and fairer State – making this a great place, and time, to get on a bike and ride.

SKINS C400

SKINS C400 men's compression bib shorts are more than a cushion for your bum. SKINS C400 is the only high performance range to use in-motion measurement to define the correct level of compression needed during activity. This improves circulation, getting more oxygen-rich blood to your muscles and reducing lactic acid build-up.
Based on 400 key fitting points, items in the SKINS C400 range are cut for on-bike comfort and improved core body control and power, as well as less post-exercise muscle soreness.
C400 bib shorts feature the Elastic Interface Technology Multi-D Anatomic Carbonium chamois. This expands and contracts with every pedal stroke, following your motion and eliminating friction. High-density foam helps relieve pressure in the perineal area for maximum comfort, without compromising on breathability.
So you'll have more power and comfort as you take your legs to their limits.
